Daniela One of the Awarded Artists in “Fresh Awards Exhibition”, 2018
Fresh Awards Exhibition, 2018 is a group show of nine artists who were selected from over 400 artist entries last year for the FRESH 2017 juried exhibition. Jurors, Peter Frank and Fatemeh Burnes, selected the artists they agreed made a strong impact and best represented current ideas and trends in Contemporary Art.

“Picturing Power", An Art Exhibit Celebrating the Strength and Diversity of Los Angeles Women. March 2014. Selected as one of the twelve featured artists ( art was curated. Piece selected “Stroll to the Sunday Feria") in the Women’s History Month, “Picturing Power” art exhibit organized by Mayor Eric Garcetti, the City of Los Angeles Commission on the Status of Women, and the Department of Cultural Affairs. Art showcased on the Gallery bridge of City Hall West from March 11 to April 11.
Daniela Wins First Prize of the Show
At the 30th Annual Made in California Juried Exhibition at the City of Brea Art Gallery, March 2015, Daniela’s painting, “Conversation at the Beach,” won First Place of the Show out of the approximately 1,000 statewide entries! “Conversation at the Beach” is a 48x48 acrylic on canvas painting that Daniela painted in the fall of 2014, inspired by a photograph Daniela took of two women talking and enjoying a day at the beach. The annual Made in California Juried Exhibition celebrates the proud tradition of displaying the works of established artists from all over California while revealing new creative movements in the California art scene all in the Gallery’s 6,500 square foot exhibition space.
Daniela Wins Third Prize of the Show
At ARTFEST 2015, a Malibu Juried exhibition benefiting the local MHS Arts Angels juried by Michael Zakian, Director of the Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art, Daniela’s piece “A Moment of Contemplation” won third prize.
